Job Overview

This is a direct, customer-facing sales role with responsibility to retain existing revenues and close new revenue opportunities with both existing and new customers in the Michigan and Ohio. Sales of new products and applications required, as is the ability to sell value-added products and services.  Must also possess the ability to identify, execute and quantify value actions and projects to ensure success of both the customer base and Sealed Air.  The individual will also be responsible for coordinating efforts of a sales support team for this territory.


Selling high performance, value added products

Manage and grow $20 million base business in Michigan / Ohio territory

Utilize all company resources (Customer Service, Technical, Marketing, Supply Chain, Graphics, etc) to delight the customer and drive value

Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Achieve agreed upon sales targets

Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Analyze Territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Continuously improve through feedback 

Manage expense budget


Five to 10 years Sales experience in packaging and / or fresh food packing is desired. 

Bachelor’s Degree

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands.

Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risk and partner with business leaders as required.

Ability to implement problem solving techniques to resolve customer issues and take corrective action.

Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
