Work in collaboration with the Account Director in National Accounts. Responsible for managing new and existing relationships for self funded clients and brokers. Evaluate plan costs, provide analytics and solutions to build on developing successful relationships. Strong relationship management skills, self funding experience preferred. Healthcare reform knowledge and understanding reinsurance required. Comfortable and confidant in conducting meetings with high level executives, brokers and consultants. Inter personal relationship and communications skills strongly desired.
The Account Manager will focus on the day-to-day service needs of clients & consultants in National Accounts. Generally, these groups will be greater than 3,000 members. A strong skill set in the area of self funding, trend analysis and communication are critical in this role. Understanding the market challenges and business climate are important. This position requires an independent, self starter, someone who understands client needs and can collaborate and work well with internal departments. In addition to on-site meetings, this role will require additional client support in the area of open enrollment and member education.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
