Reporting to the CEO, Cognizant Business Consulting (CBC) is a pivotal part of Cognizant\u2019s overall growth strategy, both in terms of the development of our core consulting business and in developing wider mind share and market share with our global clients.Banking and Financial Services is the largest industry vertical in Cognizant, and the CBC practice within it (CBC BFS) is the largest component of our Consulting business with 1300 consultants. Our CBC BFS business is built on the fundamental principles of deep and relevant domain expertise in our clients\u2019 markets and businesses, allied to an enviable track record for customer excellence. CBC BFS is already working extensively with top tier clients to enable them to meet their strategic imperatives in Payments, Retail and Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets, Governance Risk & Compliance, Wealth & Asset Management.The retail and mobile payments leader will report directly into Philippe Dintrans, the global leader for CBC BFS. The leader will help us to build our consulting business further with our existing tier one BFS clients, who are already benefitting from a number of Cognizant solutions payments services and solutions. The leader will also assist in opening out new relationships for our cards & payments business with new BFS clients. Specifically, the responsibilities of the Retail and Mobile Payments Partner are as follows:
Build and expand the existing team of Cards and Payments consultants within our CBC BFS US team, to enhance our overall capabilities and brand
Increase the level of Business Consulting at our top tier clients, in terms of Cards and Payments Consulting revenue and profit
Enhance mindshare and market share and strengthen Cognizant relationships within the targeted organisations
Work with Cognizant Client Account Partners and their teams to deliver that success
Be part of the Cognizant CBC BFS US Leadership Team
Lead some of the CBC BFS teams engaged across various accounts and leverage the required skills from across the broader CBC organisation
Play a leadership role within CBC BFS US

Experience in retail and mobile payments domain and technology gained at either a consultancy or a financial institution
Detailed knowledge of and including: Transactions processing e.g. payments re-platforming, faster payments, digital payments, digital wallets, loyalty, digital currency, payments APIs, Cards Issuing and Acquisition processes, compliance and operations e.g. KYC & AML, Virtual credit cards, COTS products, Digital Transformation etc.
A sound understanding of the impact of regulatory change
A sound understanding of disruption in the industry due to new entrants, fintech, etc..
A good knowledge and understanding of business analysis techniques
Excellent consulting and communication skills, including the ability to do strategic consulting work, target operating model work, business cases, roadmaps, etc\u2026
People management experience

Business development track record

A strong track record of successful consulting business development in Cards and Payments space
Ability to influence decisions, approached through strong subject matter expertise, and appropriate positioning of relevant experience
Establish thought leadership position with key stakeholders and long term relationships with key clients \u2013 resulting in trusted partner status and repeatable revenue streams
Consulting Project Delivery leadership and oversight of multiple smaller consulting projects

The capability to operate at multiple levels of abstraction and detail \u2013 ensure quality of deliverables and inject creativity in proposals
Continually contribute to practice-level solutions and influence a positive feedback loop with client-level implementations
