The AVP,

Global Procurement Operations is directly responsible for the successful

delivery of process transformation, change management and technology initiatives

enabling the Procurement organization clear visibility and efficient use of the

financial and required data to drive breakthrough performance in cost savings

and efficiencies.  The AVP, Global Procurement

Operations will also have a deep understanding of global procurement

operations/business challenges and the ability to translate them into solutions.  The AVP, Global Procurement Operations will

manage and direct a team in the selection, implementation, and support of envisioned

procurement technologies (P2P, Contract Management, etc.) This role will work

closely with Senior Procurement Leadership in establishing priorities and

acceptable timelines.

Execute

continuous improvement projects to support Strategic Sourcing business objectives

and goalsImplement

harmonized standards across the global organization to enable efficiencies,

effective controls and Company-wide spend management/reportingImprove and own the vendor master and

vendor set-up process and partner with IT, where appropriate, to deliver solutions,

enhancements and process automationResponsible

for current state assessment, gap resolution and task execution/deliverables

for assigned area of responsibilities

This position will report

directly to the VP, Global

Procurement and will be located in Philadelphia, PA.

Travel ~20% of time.

 

MAJOR DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct

the activities of the Systems & Process staff to accomplish

company/department objectivesDevelop

systems policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activitiesWork

with other members of the Procurement Leadership team to develop and implement

P2P initiatives to reduce transaction costs, consolidate volume and create

efficiencyImplement

leadership reports, providing tracking on key departmental KPI'sMaintain

alignment with Sr. Procurement Leadership and the IT organization to ensure

standard approach and deliverables are achievedConduct

current state assessments to identify gaps to standard modelDevelop

and implement gap resolution / implementation plansDevelop/Update

training material as requiredExecute

implementation plans to deliver quality results within defined timelinesKnowledge

and understanding of Lean and 6 Sigma principlesSupport

users with post implementation procedural or system issuesSelect,

develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operationsSolve

complex problems in which analysis of data or situations require in-depth

evaluationWork

with business unit leadership to report and monitor process complianceRemain

current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market

experts; identify and communicate new technologies and solutions to help foster

continuous improvementCollaborate

effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and

geographies to realize procurement goals and objectivesBuild

and monitor team budgets, schedules and performance requirements

in IT/Supply Chain Management/Business or related field required with MBA

preferredSuccessful

10 year track record in a systems & process rolePrevious

experience in leading and managing a teamComprehensive

understanding of PO process and P2P technologiesDemonstrate

candor; ability to respectfully challenge senior leadershipStrong

collaborative skills, positive attitude, high energyComfort/familiarity

with constructing presentations, organization communications, and business
