Performs data entry and/or validation for invoice processing and reviews supporting documents to ensure accurate payments are made on a timely basis. Assists with the research and resolution of Vendor, Buyer, and Store Operations issues.1. Processes vendor invoices in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy. Ensures proper general ledger coding is utilized and appropriate approval is obtained.2. Reconciles vendor invoice to corresponding supporting documentation including performing 2 or 3-way match process, preparing debit memos, and freight claims.3. Reviews and processes foreign vendor invoices and packing slips; ensures all Customs and company required documentation is obtained for import orders and foreign wire payments.4. Validates / Audits data entered into the AP ERP system against invoices to ensure accuracy of data entry.5. Maintains vendor files of pending invoices and supporting documents.6. Performs vendor statement reviews for past due invoices and credits.7. Responds to vendor, buyer, and store operations, DC and store inquiries regarding payment of invoices.8. Reviews upload error and EDI error files to determine resolution.9. Generates reports for analysis to aid in vendor and general ledger account reconciliations.10. Sort, prep, and scan documents by Kofax batch class.11. Import image maintenance. Splitting electronic documents into correct batch classes.12. Utilize Kofax validation, document review, and quality control to audit and verify document keywords.13. Works with various office, field, and warehouse personnel to resolve receiving and purchase order issues.14. Researches and resolves aged and exception items.15. May prepare general ledger account reconciliations.16. May coordinate the Accounts Payable Inventory Control reconciliation process (DSD only).17. Prepare and upload vendor invoice data into AP ERP system.18. Evaluate sales and use tax coding issues for expense invoice.1. High School diploma or equivalent required.2. Two years Accounts Payable experience preferred.3. Working knowledge of receiving, distribution, and invoicing required (previous Retail AP experience preferred).4. Previous data entry preferred.5. Previous OnBase experience preferred.6. SAP experience preferred.7. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.8. Strong analytical and mathematical skills required.9. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, along with excellent attention to detail required.
