In 1964, Robert Hanger began his legal career as in-house counsel for Employers of Wausau, following graduation from UCLA School of Law. In 1965 he went to work for the prestigious Wyman & Bautzer law firm where he quickly moved up the ranks and was promoted to partner in 1973.
After undergraduate studies at New York University College of Business and Public Administration, Jody Steinberg moved west and graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1989. After years of mentoring under Robert Hanger and Robert Levine, the three joined forces and founded Hanger, Levine & Steinberg in 1995.
A native Angeleno, Marc Shapiro received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his juris doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Shapiro joined the firm in 1991 and was elevated to principal in 2001.
