Meetings can be arranged at our office in St Albans or at one of our serviced offices in London.Technology also allows us to act for clients who are unable to visit our offices through disability or distance and we act for many clients who live in countries across the world. Initial instructions can be taken by telephone or email although we very rarely provide detailed advice over the telephone and would welcome the opportunity to meet with you face to face so we can talk through your case together.
Prior to any meeting taking place, it would be very helpful if you could email us about your situation so that we can consider this before we meet. Your email should include the key dates of your relationship such as when you married or moved in together, as well as a broad overview of what assets you have and when and how they were acquired.
Please be aware that we will, in common with most law firms, ask you to provide written confirmation of our instructions and money on account for your costs before we undertake substantive work on your case. Finally, in order to comply with the current money laundering regulations, we must also ask you to show us two original documents to verify your identity and address (ideally your passport or photo driving licence and a recent utility bill).
