My client is a fast growing start-up that is looking for a Sales Leader to help take them to the next level.
For CFO's and VP's of Engineering who suffer from the limitations of ERP and Project Management software in organizing and managing engineering and new product development efforts, My client’s solution is an engineering performance management
software that helps you plan, efficiently execute and measure engineering and product development efforts*.
Unlike other corporate performance management software like SaS and Hyperion, the solution is specifically designed for engineering and product development. Its planning matrix is a breakthrough in defining standard work units and for organizing scope, work, costs and schedules in an integrated manner. The software provides capabilities for business planning, pull flow execution, and performance analysis.
This executive leadership position is responsible for managing and growing Sales Account Teams located in North America. He/she will be responsible for the direct and management of all existing accounts and overseeing the recurring revenue sales model in addition to new account generation. The VP will be responsible for all of the requirements associated with the on boarding, development and management of new sales representatives and sales management. Performance will be primarily measured by the ability of the executive to attain annual sales quota and to manage the optimization of sales operational infrastructure
systems, processes, metrics and reporting) and organizational linkage and to scale and accelerate revenue results from this growing organization:
Specific responsibilities include:
Establish vision, strategy and direction for the Sales organization
Direct Enterprise Corporate account sale) that is consistent, visible, and predictable, rewarding overachievement and high performance.
Implement a scalable system to measure and report team performance along with development and growth opportunities and training to prepare and enable the Sales team to be successful as the company grows and expands.
Maintain key relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding customer base.
Build, develop and manage Account team capable of carrying out needed sales and services initiatives.
Direct Account forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Meet with key customers to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
Prepare and deliver sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Specific skills include:
10 plus years of demonstrated success with sales at a small to midsized SaaS, Cloud, or information services
. Technology vertical experience a plus.
Automotive and oil/gas vertical nice to have)
Demonstrated experience growing and optimizing teams, strong sales organizational scale background is required.
Demonstrated experience closing multi-million dollar sales in a start-up.
Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
sales track record in a new product/new market environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment.
